Ultra-Realistic Setting

The story takes place in Akihabara, a real-life district in Tokyo. Once an underground market for
electronics, Akihabara—known colloquially as Akiba—has since become a mecca for Japanese pop
culture, particularly anime, games, and pop idols. This title is a remake of Akiba’s Trip Plus, based
on the original Akiba’s Trip released on PSP® in 2011, optimized for current generation consoles.
AKIBA'S TRIP: Hellbound & Debriefed therefore features the streets of Akihabara as they appeared
in the early 2010s.
